Another reason why UMOS forum RULES!

I actually got burnt out on new music totally around 95-98. I still listened to my old CD's but I really didn't listen to much new stuff. I didn't know there was a whole underground metal scene building again. I could never get sick of "metal" though. With metal you can hear every other genre of music. That's one of the many reasons I love it. You can hear Rock, Classical, Blues, Country, Punk, Alternitive, Industrial, Pop, all incorporated into it. I think that's what sets this music apart. If Toby Keith put some double bass and some guitar solo's on a song or two, his fans would freak out. The fans of this music are way more open minded I think. That's why I will never get sick of it personally! I love the diversity of it. This comes from someone who can listen to Zeppelin, to Slayer, to Savatage, to Korn, Dream Theater, Brainstorm, Pagans Mind. I like alot of stuff, so I couldn't be bored with it.

I agree 100% with SavaRon. Excellent point. Metal has so much more variety than just about every other musical genre. Gotta love it!

Greystone in St. Helena, CA is great. You can get out of the snow and into wine country!!! The CIA, as in Culinary Institute of America, has as its West Coast campus, the former home of the Christian Brothers winery, an imposing three-story 101-year-old building that housed generations of winemaking friars. This is a masters-level training center for working, certified chefs. Visitors can take in cooking demonstrations F-M at 1:30p and 3:30p for $12.50 per person with a sample of what the chef has prepared at the end of the demonstration. CIA's Campus Store stocks an impressive supply of cookware and cookbooks for the serious cook. You may also want to dine at the campus Wine Spectator Greystone restaurant.

Maybe next year cuz this years concerts are just too damn good and keep getting better! :headbang: :headbang:

I like having "seasons" & I like clean air, no smog. Fuck, I quit smoking cigarettes, about 4 months ago. Why on earth was I voluntarily taking in smoke?! That's just fucked! I like having 100 degree weather in the summer & -12 in the winter!
Just preferance.

We have a shitty weather, is rainy and cold (15 C) :D

And if you want smog come here, we manage to ban smoking by increasing car emissions

Ted, you distastefull pile of flea bitten camel lips :loco:
It's winter here, well actually it never really is winter 'round here, it's just colder than normal, I think we hit 10 degrees celcius the other morning, freeezing :D
What's this shit 'bout being burned out on metal?? Apply pressure on it until the medics rock up, I've sent for them. In the meanwhile listen to some Slayer, that should keep you calm.
This forum does indeed rule, that's one thing you got right, and your badass posts contributes greatly :headbang:

I kind of had a non-metal phase from 1989 to 1992. When I listen to a lot
weird stuff like Sisters Of Mercy, The Stone Roses, Peter Murphy, Mission UK, The
Cult and so on basically cause the clubs in Germany played a lot of this goth
style music along with Euro Pop and Techno music. And some American bands
like Dinosaur Jr, Lemonheads and Screaming Trees. But believe it or not it was
of all bands Nirvana that for some reason got me back into listening to metal
again cause my friends in the army would have parties in the barracks and they
would bring stuff like Alice In Chains, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Suicidal and so on.
And I when I saw COC's Blind tour in Nashville TN. that was it! Back to metal!
But I listened to other stuff like punk, industrial and country sometimes when im
in the mood for something different.
