Anthrax awsome MetallicA cover

On Kazaa i downloaded Anthrax playing Phantom Lord by metallica,and i find it better than the orignal.Anthrax is my second fav band,metallica is my first,so yea i guess this would make it tired.

Actually, I like the original (Selloutica's version) better. Phantom Lord is the only Anthrax cover that isn't better than the original song.

I agree Thraude. Of course, this tune was well before the sellout, and Kirk's guitar was awesome on this track, something that really paled in comparison on the Thrax track.

I think this cover shows us how Metallica would have sounded like if John had joined them. However classic is a classic, I think Anthrax´s version kicks ass, especially vocals and drums.

I actually think CF's version of Dethroned Emperor is better than 'Thrax's. I hate the distortion on Bushy's voice.

I have Anthrax's version of Phantom Lord on an import cd single. It rocks!
