Prague
...in July.
Not in Prague actually, but in Pilsen (home of Pilsner Urquell brewery)
Provided I could get there for free, which is quite possible, I might go check it out. Though I´m not excited very much, I have lots of preconceptions but who knows, I might as well like it.

Go to the gig Jam master JCzech! It aint as good as a Bush gig (in my humble opinion) but still worth a look. I'd have been pissed off had i not went to the show in Glasgow. Give it a try dude.

It's obviously up to you, but I think you should go to the show as well. Imo (most of the time) concerts in general are a good time. Even if you prefer the Bush lineup, you must still like Joey era Anthrax somewhat, or else you probably wouldn't still post here, right? It's hard to leave your preconceptions at the door, but if you did I'd think you'd have a good time at least.

Urquell is one of the Fuckin best beers in the world!!!!
Sorry for my english but I´m a bit drunk, right now! Also Kozel is a very fucking good beer!!!! Are you Chezk??
Anyway, Velkopopovicky Kozel (light) is an extraordinaryly great beer!!!!

Yeah I´m Czech. Kozel is good but mostly it depens on the pub. I heard Tuborg kicks ass too :)

Anyway, I´m having awkward feelings about this, because even though (as Strik noticed) I like all the Joey era albums, I prefer the "newer" stuff much more. For me, Bush is Anthrax. As far as the old songs go, I still prefer them with Bush. I have doubts if I would be still listening to Anthrax if I hadn´t heard SOWN, I was 12 when Joey left and I was listening to lots of 80s bands I´m not interested in anymore. So I would still like to go check them out, I want to see Scott and Charlie and Frankie onstage once again. It´s just that...once my most favorite band is coming to my country and I´m not psyched the way I always used to be, and I have doubts whether to go or not, strange, isn´t it?

I've been in a kinda similar situation as you're in now. Last fall when Megadeth came to Toronto, I bought a ticket, and at first I wanted to go then after a while I thought that the show probably wouldn't be as good as the Megadeth shows I'd seen in the past. I'd seen Megadeth a bunch of times over the years. so it's not like I'd never heve seen them if Dave decided to retire the Megadeth name. So I ended up selling the ticket to a buddy of mine who's been a 'deth fan for awhile (SFSGSW). He told me that the show kicked ass, and that it was the tightest he'd seen Megadeth in years! Sure, if I had gone to the show I might have thought differently, but I probably would've had a good time at least. I've been kicking myself ever since for not forgetting my preconceptions and just taken the concert for what it was, a Megadeth show (possibly the last one I'd ever see) and had a great time! :loco: Sure Megadeth is different than Anthrax (there also not nearly as good!.), especially both bands situations are totally different right now. Anthrax is on a reunion tour and Megadeth is on a possible farewell tour with a new lineup. If I were you I'd go to the show, but do whatever you want dude! :kickass:

I´m fanatic about the Joey-era, Bush is alright for the style they´re playing nowadays, but I´m a sucker for the old days. I guess about 90% of my collection is Joey-era.
Anyway, I´m so damn jealous of you guys who get to see the classic line-up! I had the chance to go to Sweden Rock on 11. june and see them, but the fuckers made it so I have an exam two days later! Argh! :erk:

I would certainly love to see Megadeth with Drover brothers and that Iced Earth guy on bass! :) because to me, Megadeth=Dave Mustaine.

Ta det lugnt dansken! I will put up a review here for you to read!

Mmmmm... Pilsner Urquell. *Aaaarrhhlllll...*

Sometimes I wonder if Dave will end his days sucking Pat Robertsons cold, limp penis. He seems like a good goy but he obviously suffers from Milanos-syndrome (like irrational ranting and violent mood-swings).

That's cool. That's why I said the situations between the two bands is totally different. I agree, with all the lineup changes over the years, Megadeth = Dave Mustaine.

JCzech,
Have you ever seen Anthrax with Bush? I remember they played Roxy in 1998, then a festival here, what, last year? I've seen the WCFYA lineup twice.

johnnie go and enjoy the show man,i wasnt to sure what to expect but they delivered something very special to a loyal sydney fanbase, what harm can it do,i actually think u will be singing there praises after seeing them live again.

Malá sportovní hala 1996 (Stomp tour), Roxy 1998 (Volume 8) Benátská noc (2004)

Have you read this then http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/bl...ewsitemID=36679
about Mustaine?
What´s up with this newfound christianity?!?

It's not a newfound christianity .. he's been born again for some time now...

Well .. it's true hah .. Dave IS Megadeth .. it's HIS band .. any muso's that play with him are treated as hired help ... I still love Megadeth though
