Anthrax on the Radio

[one man stands]

I wrote to 93X, The Twin Cities Hard Rock Station, and I got a response
from Tawn, who is a big Anthrax fan. I thought I would Just post the E-mail for everyone to read.



I love Anthrax, but it seems my boss doesn't. We always get the CD's from all rock bands, but we don't always play them. Paul Piper is our MD and Wade Linder is our PD. Good luck.

Tawn Is a chick, and she is a huge Anthrax fan. She ranks Anthrax as one of the most underated bands around in her bio. I am sure she will have no problem playing them, it's just those damn program directors.

It sucks that radio's won't play them but played them in the 80's why stop playing them?
And why don't MTv never play them anymore they played them in the 80's why not play them onece in a while insted of all the bullshit they play all the time which is about 10 bands (here's a few the strokes the hives the datsuns the foo fighters the white stripes yawn yawn yawn :Smug::Smug::Smug:

Umm...hate to tell you guys this quick story:
On MTV, i was flippin through and caught Eminem - Superman.... In the song, he refers to putting Anthrax on a tampon... They bleep out the word "Anthrax" but keep the rest. This makes me think that Anthrax will never be on that screwed up station.
