Defacing are a complete attempt to copy Cryptopsy. They even cover "Phobophile."

I like Cryptopsy.....and other things I like for somewhat similar reasons are:

Wormed
Gorguts
Martyr

I heard Malevolent Creation likes Cryptopsy A LOT, and so does Dying Fetus, Cattle Decapitation, and Dimmu Borgir. They think Cryptopsy is the shit.

Not similiar in sound but ten times more technical,insane, you'll probably like it since it's technical death metal.

An understandable view, seeing how Psycroptic manage to attract a great deal of the shitheaded mallcore crowd, seemingly because they put on a fantastic energetic live show. Won't stop me from liking them though.
