I'm a bassist, but a guitarist as well.
When I write basslines for my band's songs (they're not a progressive band, but my basslines are), they're like an even mix of Mike Lepond's and Joey Vera's (Armored Saint, Fates Warning) styles.

Hi guys (or is there a female bassplayer too?)...
First I want to say SORRY for my bad english writing, but school was long time ago, and I didn't have lot of chances to do.
Yes, I'm bassist too (in an unknown german rockband called Clapham Junction), and I'm really proud to own a Yamaha RBX-6JM, signed by the master himself (NOT the maschined signature on the headstock). Most of my bass guitars are from Yamaha (one each):
BB-605 (5-string)
BB-1000MA
RBX-6JM (6-string)
SBV-500
In addition I use a Fender Precision Bass and a MusicMan StingRay III (limited edition), an Epiphone Thunderbird IV and an Epiphone Explorer bass.
Rock on and on and on...

I own a ton of gear ( I litterally mean 2,000lbs)of gear
some old P basses and early G&L
All four strings I have played a 5 and a 6 . I also used to play in a lot of bands( I am recording a new Demo AS we speak )
