Any of you used the Fatcity snare sample?

I did, and didn't come up with any wavs... Did come up with a soundfont though, which I'm going to try out now

believe me....all of the alesis d4 and dm5 samples are available on the net for download if you perform the right search in google (not that i'm advocating this as i'm not sure about the legality issues). lucky for me, i already own both modules! :D

i too own a D4. henceforth, i shall torrent my balls off and use the ripped samples copiously and without shame in the manner of a small demon. oid.

(hint: several hints lie within this post.)
((srsly though, i really do own an alesis D4.))
(((i probably won't even really use the samples since they sound like 1987 to me.)))

hahaha "torrent my balls off" ....made me chuckle :D

yeah you're totally right, on their own they sound antiquated to say the least.....but used nicely mixed with some shit hot snare samples it can do wonders. if it works for sneap/richardson, then it can work for me! :)

There are a couple of samples on the D4 that sounds awesome. about 4-5 snares and 4-5kicks that can be used for blending. Im no fan of the Fatcity snare though, it is really to prominent, and tends to dominant the snare if being used.

For those looking for d4 samples: start with Andy kick sample. Those who own a d4 already know whitch sample Andy had used for this:)

MONSTAR:yow:

can i just upload all the kick/snare samples? will anyone ackshully care o_-? they're only one-shots, anyway. and aren't named according to the names from the module itself.

that- and i think the DM5 is, as of recently...no longer in production, replaced by the DM10, the version that ships with the new alesis e-kits.
