Has anyone else heard SA's cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name? If not, check it out! Robert Lowe isn't trying to mimick Dickinson, which is cool. It's an excellent cover.

b00B - Your comment about the US Pentagram reminds me why I don't like you.
Yeah, it's pretty good, but my favorite SA cover is "Shame on the Night"
I forgot to add Grand Magus to my above list, even though they're edging away from doom. Their newest is my top pick of '08.
I'd love to hear that! Is it on a some sort of tribute album?

Don't know if it's on one of their albums as well, but it's on the Holy Dio: Tribute to Ronnie James Dio album.

I've never been a big RB fan.
Well, I was fortunate enough to pick up a couple of Solitude Aeturnus discs at the Disc Exchange in Knoxville, Tennessee this weekend. I found both Alone and Into The Depths of Sorrow. ITDOS is a limited edition that is actually numbered out of 2000 copies, which is pretty neat. Along with my SA stash I picked up Battlelore's The Last Alliance and Evernight, and Jorn's Lonely Are The Brave.

Your limited edition copy of Into The Depths Of Sorrow is quite a find, my friend...quite a find indeed...very cool.
Rock on!
