Yes, yes, that was me. I have to admit it was pretty funny. I even joked with him about if Peter had been teaching me the Swedish that he would teach me BAD Swedish and the whole time I was falling for his trick ... I'll get my revenge ;)

I LIKE YOUR BAND!

Yeah I met them........ they were nice guys. The last thing I want to do is sound like I am talking down to you because you are 13, but this goes for anyone young or old........ musicians are regular people. They love fans, but most musicians are even more nervous about meeting fans than fans are about meeting them. Just talk to them. Any subject is probably cool.

The only time I was really nervous when meeting someone is when Roger Glover asked me to come backstage while I was trying to sneak in. I was literally shaking, I think I was about 13.

Was it "Heftig"? I said "Hefty" and they thought I said Heftig. Heftig in Swedish means cool ......... :headbang: (or so they TOLD me).

That was at the Houston show and I think you guys were standing there when we had the discussion. Not that it matters :D

Darg, I have never been very shy about meeting bands. They are regular people with cool jobs (though pretty shitty hours and are forced to try and be accessible even when they have shitty days) but even though I am 36 years old, if I were to meet Wolf Hoffmann face to face, I think I would just about be speechless. It's an honor to meet band members of bands I love and TM is right at the top of my fave bands, but since (like you) I am a musician. If I were to get to meet Wolf, I would probably get dizzy and speechless.
I know you are big into Rainbow and Deep Purple so he is a hero of yours. It was less your age, but more you were meeting not simply a celebrity, but a musical God for you.
I did get very nervous about meeting Ronnie Dio and could think of little to say to him. I also didn't speak as muich as I wanted to to Urban though he was very approachable. It was more fatigue than nervousness. I had a hard time carrying on a conversation with my wife and friends as well, but Urban, Christer (Krunt) Peter, Daniel and Anders were all very nice guys.
