Anyone ever tasted ostrich meat before?

I'm eating sliced smoked ostrich steak on knäckebröd right now, it's pretty crazy... Tastes exactly like horse though but you Americans think eating horse is wacky weird so you wouldn't know I guess

I've had it a couple of times. It's weird because even though it's essentially a big chicken, it's got a 'red meat' flavour to it. It's supposed to be very healthy too.

yea ive eaten ostrich, but only in jerky. In new hampshire you can get every kind of jerky you want, ostrich, aligator, etc. so i guess horse isn't THAT weird.


also your gona have to show me where i can get some horse meat over the summer, im interested in trying it. as mike knows im all about "OMGLOLZ YOU GUYS DO THAT IN SWEDEN AND WE DO THIS IN AMERIKKA!"
