Anyone have AUROTONE MONITORS?

Ive been watching that Pensados Place youtube show and they keep talking about Aurotone monitors. Ive never used them or even heard about them till that show. But after doing some research they seem to be kinda like an NS 10 in their own unique way.


Anyone own these? If so let me know if they help you.

I've used them. They are nothing like NS10's. They're basically a worst case scenario reference that was popular in the 70s and 80s but there are other more timely options for that now (ipod earbuds for one). Lots of older guys like them b/c they learned them but there is no reason to seek them out now IMHO (and overpay for a 20 year old single 5" speaker w/ no tweeter).
