Just ordered a 27" i7 iMac and ridiculously stoked to get it... Was just wondering if anyone here is running Reaper on an i5 or i7 iMac and what their experience has been so far with large projects?
My Macbook Pro (2.53ghz Core 2 Duo) that I've been using to record for the past year struggled a bit with my last project in the final stages of the mix, and that was only about 35 tracks at 512 buffer, so I'm hoping with this i7 beast I'll be flying around at a 128 buffer for days...
