Anyone intrested in reamping?

Here's my quick headphone mix. I used Superior 2.0 Avatar kit instead of Addictive Drums. The kick is replaced with the Sneap Kick .gog.
Dude, you're an amazing guitar player by the way.

I had 2 mixes up initially, but the first was crap so I took it down. Here's my 2nd mix:

I'm actually really impressed with the Superior 2.0 overheads after doing this. I've never really been able to get a nice sound out of the cymbals until I started messing around with this song. They are a bit tricky compared to its predecessor. I may have to try using the full 2.0 kit in my own stuff instead of mixing the drums from S2.0 with the cymbals from S1.0

Wow, Matt that is a focker of a mix there!

Just the reamped guitars, no mix. I didn't adjust amp settings or mic placement from the last tracks I had done, so it might not be dialled in perfectly. :)

They are just mp3's if anyone wants the wav's let me know.

I have left the silence at the start of the 3 and 4 guitars so there is nothing until around 33 seconds so it lines up in the DAW with Guitars 1 and 2.

There is quite a bit of background noise on the DI's in places. I didn't realise until after it was finished and didn't have time to do it again with some Noise Suppression. :erk:

Awesome playing though. A good recorded tone definitely relies on greatly played guitars.

Btw, am I the only one who noticed something strange in the waveform of the provided DIs? The negative side of the peaks never reached as high up as the positive side of the peaks when I looked at it real quickly a few days ago. Normally, the peaks and "valleys" should be pretty equal in magnitude for something like guitar, right? :o

@ Splat88:
Your mix sounds so good and loud.
Could you please explain your mastering process?
