Anyone know why that Uranium show ended up getting canceled? And where is that girl Julyia at these days? Her and Ian Robbinson (the mtv vj) seemed like the only legit tv metal heads for a while there. Need more shows like Uranium in my life.

I´ve never watched that show but if it was the only tv-show about metal on mtv it must be a shame it´s not on anymore.

reminds me of a video I watched for rofls where VH1 or some shit had some "experts" to try and make a list of the top 10 metal bands of all time. There was 1 girl who kept trying to get them to put a death metal or black metal band up there, but they just ignored her.

because it was terrible. i was at a show once and she was there. i was wasted so i started talking to her and it started into an argument. i dont remember what it was about but it ended in a stare down. she blinked first. shes kind of a bitch.

You are so correct on that one. Juilya was first discovered by much music when they walk up to people and have them select videos. She was wearing baggy jeans and a hoody, no make up, no perfect hair, no nothing. She was going on and on about ozzy and slayer and how metal they are, but who doesn't know them.
They sexed her up and made a show about metal and half the music on there sucked ass, they always played Mudvayne for some reason. But, Much Music/Fuse knew she would be a good selling target.
But, after 5 or 6 years of Uranium they dropped her like a dime. They were going to replace her but they just canceled the show instead. To my understanding ratings were low and she wanted too much many that she didn't deserve. And, her and Fuse had some lawsuit against one another because supposedly she breached her contract at some point.
