i want to buy it i think its neat the new way of playing heh....
:D and the twilight princess is just AWESOME!! :OMG:
i want to buy it soon...if anyone has it already can you tell me if you can save the game in the memory of the console? or you have to buy the kodac thingies?...or can you save it in the gamecube memory cards? (which i doubt but it would be nice :p hehe)
 
You can save on all three of them, at least that's what my friend who owns a Wii told me.

The console and Twilight Princess are indeed awesome, but I don't ever plan to buy them, since my best friend is getting one and will most likely let me play whenever I like. :D
 
Damn I want one soooo bad, there was an anime festival last weekend and a company showed off its PS3 and Wii. I only got to play Golf on Wii Sports and didn't like it, but shit, ZELDA!!!

I want that.... maybe for my b-day hehe :erk: .
 
i want to get the ps3 just to play "bully" but if i ever get a consolle then i would never leave the house again, which is not optimal.
 
I know I'm not saying anything earth-shattering, but the issue I have with new systems is that they're way too expensive. I'm willing (read: I'm about to) spend good money on a new desktop computer keeping in mind I'll also want to play the occasional brand new videogame, but I feel that other applications, surfing the Internet, work tools etc. add to the value of the object in ways that no PS3 could ever manage to provide.

I'd feel terrible knowing I've wasted money buying something whose only purpose is to entertain myself through a game. While I do feel that some games are somewhat enriching (and I'm the kind of nostalgic nerd shedding more than a tear over classics of the past, even the very very past), they can't stand a comparison with other kinds of fiction (movies, books, even TV). The only one that got close was World of Warcraft, and I'm never touching it again for fear of getting sucked in.
 
i only play a handful of games, mainly skateboarding ones, and was quite disappointed by such anticipated releases as HOMM5 (the gameplay engine gives me motion sickness). however, i really hate not being able to play bully, and i hope that a PC release is in the plans...

by the way, pointless nerdy trivia: rockstar games, besides releasing GTA, bully and other controversial games, cooperated in the production of the classic hooligan movie "the football factory".

I feel exactly the same, which is why Ive never owned and never will own a console. I play computer games, of course.. but I like to make myself believe it's not the one and only purpose of my computer ;)

HOMM5 was total disappointment for me - I still play HOMM3 (and not playing HOMM2 cuz some dumb fuck lost my CD with it... grrrr).

As of consoles: $400 for premium 360 ($300 for a standard one) sounds like a good deal, but

DO YOU REALIZE PS3 HAS A BLU-RAY PLAYER, WHICH (from Sony again) STANDALONE COSTS $999? For 360 you have to buy it separately (along with larger HDD), and it's HD-DVD drive.

For $600 here you get 60 Gb console, free online gaming (M$' requires subscription) and a Blue-Ray player (only reason why I ever going to consider a console). Think about it ;)

I'm untouched by Wii, thinking of PS3 and 1080p ~42" LCD next year.

Exactly. I tell myself my computer is for other things. Like keeping my room warm at night, when I'm not playing WoW. Or for surfing the internet... for things relating to WoW.

Oh right, music. That's what my comp is for. Not WoW.

Welllll... I have a bunch of desktops/laptops, I hink a console wouldn't hurt - it's good to change a position I'm sitting in, sometimes :heh: And I checked prices on those PS3. Surprisingly, they have some lame bundle with bunch of games I don't want to play for ~$1100 :mad: Gimme a console!!!!!

But I just realized there's no way a worthy 1080p LCD panel is going to fit in my room :S

And again: blue-ray, people. Blue-ray.

yay! for the fact that you can save in any of the memories (kodak, gamecube and console) wheeee!! i mean wiiiii!! ok haha too stupid
 
well I read just interesting things about the wii and the idea behind this console is much better than this faster/higher/better graphics xxl orgasm behind 360 or PS3. And I dont need just better looking versions of old games(FIFA/NFS) I wanna have fresh new game ideas, so it seems they are coming with the wii.
but as I have no tv, no money and no time during studies I´ll buy it in one year when Im finished with uni and the rest
 
I actually would think of getting the Wii, simply because it seems to be more interactive than other consoles. Of course, I still won't get it, but if I did, I'd be damn sure to hold onto that wiimote.

Does anyone know if you can play online on Wii? Call of Duty 3 in particular?

I see playing single player for fun as a total waste of time even with the coolest technology as Wii.

Chaged my mind about PS3 as long as Assasin's Creed is coming out on 360 as well. Saw a comparison of a gameplay on 3 different current-gen consoles - 360 delivers the best graphics quality, Wii has innovative controllers and PS3 reportedly overheats.

Well, playing a troll myself, it's because we get hungry. Generally. However, we cannot be tamed, so there is no 'Feed Troll' command. I guess you could macro it, though.
