No matter how domesticated a cat is it still will hunt and kill native animals.A very well trained dog will not hunt!
A dog can be kept in a yard a cat won't stay in a yard.
A cat generally kills for sport/pleasure.
It is not the native animals fault that their territory is invaded!
I have a cat myself and if it was up to me I would have found a home for it away from the bush.
I would never harm an animal myself.
I simply think cats,foxes and feral dogs should be wiped out of rural and bush areas.
