Whoa, the ironic thing is that I was going to do the post in this thread that I'm about to do and it involves what you just said AND cats. Freaky.

Anyway, on Full Frontal there was a DAVID McGAHAN segment with Shaun Micallef and he had a special on cats. It had the funniest line I'd ever heard in sketch comedy in it.

David McGahan: "Cats are brown."

I simply think cats,foxes and feral dogs should be wiped out of rural and bush areas.

I hate the damage caushed by these thigns in the bush (particularly the foxes), unfortunately it is getting pretty messy where you have these animals living together......... There hasn't been a hell of a lot of research done on the interactions, but removing foxes can have the effect of putting less pressure on feral cat populations.

But for the most part I agree - foxes especially have got to go in so many areas. They've gotta get them the hell out of Tasmania, it's getting to the poitn of no return now.

My Grandad saw a tassie tiger in Daylesford in the 60s/70s.

He also saw an albino fox.

The locals laughed at him, and called him "the silver fox", and shortly after his death, someone shot an albino fox.

It's not just animal pests. I can barely walk down the bush path where I walk the dogs anymore because it's getting overgrown with blackberry. I found one of the fucking things growing in the front garden yesterday. Blackberry, mynahs and fucking cats and foxes are taking over up here.
