Apostle in Triumph/Birch Black

I just picked up Agalloch's EP "The White" a little while ago and when Birch Black started I thought "WTF, this is The Apostle in Triumph" for like 2 seconds and then it got different. Has this happened to anyone else?

I've been listening to The White quite a lot lately, particularly being fond of Isle of Summer and Birch Black, but I've never felt a connection. I might have another listen.

Edit: Was thinking of Birch White. Birch Black has a similar style to tAiT, but is very different. I can definitely understand the connection.
