just an FYI, Dave Budbill knew nothing about this when I asked him on Facebook.

I have been doing this for 10 years now and never announced a band that was not confirmed with a signed contract in place. I have that with their booking agent.

However, I have no idea how the communication flows between band members.

I'm not doubting your integrity. I just know that bands can easily pull out of a gig for a number of reasons. I'd rather hear straight from the band that they're definitely playing. I'm from New Jersey, the land of Jack Koshick. Need I say more? If they tell me that they are playing, I'll be there.
