That's too bad. Garm is one of my favorite singers. Arcturus wouldn't be half as good without him.

I think comparing TSM and LMI is ultimately pointless, and complaining that the former is lacking elements of the latter runs counter to Arcturus' raison d'etre: experimentation.

I just got it yesterday and I'm astounded by how good it is. I had Aspera Hiems Symfonia before and I loved it so this one did not disappoint me at all.

No problem there's a man ....his name is LARS ERIC SI(WINDS)......could a great singer for ARCTURUS........also SIEMEN could be a good substitute......

Good thinking...Winds could be considered sort of a less radical Arcturus...

Personally I wouldn't be too keen for Lars Eric Si to take over vocal duties for Arcturus. The guy can sing, there's no doubt about that, but on the Winds album it just seems like the vocals are there just for the sake of it, to sound pretty, and he doesn't seem very adventurous. Garm has a certain quirkiness and grandeur (not just with his vocals, but as a person too) and that was absolutely perfect for Arcturus. He'd be a hard guy to replace.

What about Ulver? What does it sound like? I'm very curious about it, since it's Garm's main project. All I know it's an experimental band...

True. I think they are two totally different records.
