ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

OH WOW I AM SO SHOCKED THAT UPS WOULD DO THAT TO PACKAGES AND IN BROAD DAYLIGHT SO EVERYONE CAN SEE WHAT IF THERE WAS SOMETHING IRREPLACABL...

Get over it. That's what packaging peanuts are for. If you think packages are handled any more gently in the shipping or distribution centers of these companies or the companies you purchase products from, you're either ignorant in that regard or delusional.

Frankly, I'm happy when the UPS guy makes an effort to conceal my packages under my doormat.

None of what you're saying here provides any incentive for anyone to "get over it." It just further drives home the fact that our society today is full of a bunch of fucking idiots who should probably be marched off a cliff.

There's a reason the best job some of these people will ever have is making a middling wage in a UPS distro center, and its more than they probably deserve.

Or maybe thats why they're so angry.

Ah, so its a vicious circle. They're angry because their shitty behavior keeps them from doing anything with their lives, so they act out and become even bigger, more worthless assholes. There are people who work hard at whatever job they have and you know...they make the world a decent place to be. Yet due to circumstance those people lose their jobs and have a tough go of it. then you have people who take everything for granted and treat everyone else like shit. Life, ain't it grand?

Tell me, Nailz, oh wise and knowledgeable person...

How many packing peanuts would this guy need to have kept this from happening?

The fact that you think UPS somehow is entitled to treat packages in any way close to this, is completely reprehensible.

So shut your damnable mouth.

Ugh...I think if Nailz spent any time buying/selling gear online and had shit like this happen he'd change his tune. I used to work for FedEx and while I consider them to be slightly better than UPS, I can still say there's a large amount of shiftless morons working there, too. It just pisses me off.

Believe me, the PO is often just as bad. Todd can attest to this - a few years ago, right in the swing of Holiday Package craziness, we witnessed our regular mail carrier huck a package from the street to our front door (or so she must have hoped). Thing is, our front door was about 25 steps down and at least 40 feet from the street. We were both home, heard a "Hello?! Post Office!", walked out to the deck to see what was up and the package came flying (literally) over the retainer wall and slammed into our concrete walkway. Lucky for her, it was a book. Unlucky for her, we don't take that kind of crap at all and she ended up getting canned (I called the head PO immediately and reported the incident).

What it comes down to, is that the general populace just doesn't give a shit anymore about anyone or anything other than themselves and their own belongings. Pretty damn sad, if you ask me.

UPS is union that why the act like that.. I have been dealing with them for many many years. We have one driver that is always on his cell when delivering to my work, we call him ALL DAY. I am like dude WTF you can't stop talking for a few minutes to do your freaking job? UPS plain out sucks

That's it in a nutshell. Its that type of attitude that is pervasive in society these days that makes me want to move to the damn mountains.

I hear you, oh man, do I hear you. The same thought has been crossing my mind for some time now. Even more so now that the shit is hitting the fan like it is in Mexico (I'm in North San Diego). I was fortunate to have lived on farm/ranch land for a few years as a kid, so going back to rural Colorado... I'd love to. (Damn you new house - Damn you!)
