I've been really into Lykathea Aflame lately and they brand themselves as Atmospheric Deathgrind. Are there any other bands similar to them as far as creativity, atmosphere, and spirituality goes?

If you're into that off-the-beaten-path deathgrind stuff like Lykathea Aflame, you absolutely must listen to !T.O.O.H.! I think they're better than Lykathea Aflame, and lately they've become one of my favorite bands.

Of course. That leans on the brutal death metal side though. Lykathea Aflame has a lot of beauty in their music.

Bands like Ulcerate and Gigan are atmospheric. Less beautiful though; more of a scarred and frightening asmosphere.

Ulcerate is slightly terrifying; at least, Everything is Fire is terrifying. That's the only album I've heard.
