Back then, I used to listen to mostly easy-listening death metal, but then I checked out the bands you recommended. I'm glad I did. I want to thank your for recommending Brodequin's "Festival Of Death" to yours truly, along with plenty of other brilliant brutal death metal. Glad you're back.

Try Stabwound. They are brutal death, with (some) groove/slam, whatever you want to call it. Kind of in the vein of Disgorge or Devourment, on their demo.

Stabwound, good call, they are much better than Devourment and Disgorge IMO
