not to motw/kayo dot lyrics. those are all byron and toby's territory and they are way better at writing them than i am.

i write lyrics to my own songs though. i am constantly trying to better my overall songwriting/lyricry skills.

Lord of the Rings is probably my favorite. i am not very well-read. but also i am a big fan of terry pratchett's Small Gods, Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms and Good Omens by terry pratchett and neil gaiman.

i am very indecisive

that does not bother me. i know plenty of people who don't like the movies who love the books and i think some scholars try to explain those books as being a kind of "universally" accepted amazing piece of literature sometimes but i think that in the end it is like any other type of art in that you either like it or not.

see i was trying to prompt a rabid defense, but that is probably more appropriate.

i did feel as though ROTK was the last straw, though. that film lacked sacrifice and tension, which all goes back to the source material, obviously. and i know how wrong-headed that may sound.

explain what this neil gayman thing is.

neil gaiman is the guy who did that comic book the sandman. he is just really really cool and while i never read much from the sandman before i bought a graphic novel in 2002 and absolutely fell in love with it.

no sweat on the spelling.

my friend lali alerted me of the austin bat bridge, and i've looked into it a little since.

basically a bridge in austin w/ bats. they fly out in swarms @ night. EOM.
I've been to the bat bridge a countless number of time (my grandparents live relatively close to it). It's so awesome watching all of them pour out.

i'm going to butt in long enough to remind Greg to please post his track list on the mix-trade thread. i am a teacher-to-be, after all, so i am good at admonishing.
