Good thread,i think it's interesting to know the origin of avatars(sorry if i'm killing english language!)
For my av. it's a drawing i made, i took the idea from a picture on a play card "Gaze of pain" (Magic)and now i use it for my av.

Anyway, as I already explained - I guess I'm more into legends and ancient stuff than into cosmology (though that interests me, too, a great deal!) - thus I lay the Astral guy to rest and took this nick - as someone remembering the oldest known god of this region I live in

Nah..I'm not that big Mayhem fan, I only like them up till 1994. I like Darkthrone much more but Fenriz is too ugly to have as avatar I think
