Aww hven't drawn anything Turisas in a while. :< But for now I've gotta work on my portfolio and a shouting general and explosions for a computer game. Kida out of my comfort zone, but hey, you gotta be diverse.

Well, these are already couple months old and some of you might've seen these in deviantART (at least Kele has ), but I thought I could show 'em here as well. These two are speedpaintings with Photoshop, time used 'bout four hours for each, pretty much for practicing purposes. I wanted to get faster in painting, and also experiment new techniques in lighting, colours and in something as simple as brushes. And since I don't use red that much in my drawings and paintings, these were tons of fun just for that reason. Used a couple gig shots by ever-so-talented Toni Salminen as references.

im trying to get back to drawing but seems its goin to take me some time, all my things are old and lostand dont remember most of the stuff it will be like start again, so ill blow the dust from my watercolors hahaha

@silent_night: Yeah, they're painted with brush tool and eraser in Photoshop. I've studied digital art along with photography and media for three years now. But these still wouldn't be nearly as good without references, they really help when trying to get proportions right. I nearly always look for several refs from which to check from, but with these I went with only one per painting. And go for it, I'd like to see your drawings, too! : D

ive never studied something related with art, just during a short period i studied comics drawing, but i was forced to quit, missing the last part of it, so usually i just take what i have and do the work as i feel,i have to admit im not very good, now with years of no practicing is taking me time draw like in the past :S
