Band Shirts

Morothe: How did you make the Carcass shirt? I've been wanting to make some shirts for bands who never released any merchandise.

Carcass did t-shirts! Or didn't they? Well... okay... maybe the ones I saw were bootlegs, I really don't know. :( But they had that wide, flat, angular kinda logo they use, along with some artwork which I've totally forgotten now.

Shit, probably around 80-100 shirts and about 10 hooded sweatshirts.

Holy fuck, man.

For no particular reason I did a t-shirt count recently. Turns out I have 74, but I wasn't specifically counting metal t-shirts. They probably make up about 3/4 of my t-shirts though. The bands that I have the most t-shirts from would be Ulver, Dead Can Dance and Agalloch (four each). I've gone through about six t-shirts of various Devin Townsend-related stuff but I've sold some of them (plus heaps of others) since.

My favourites:
Ulver - Trolsk Sortmetall
Agalloch - grey "Heathen Pride"
Woods Of Ypres - white w/ logo (naturally ;) )
Corrupted - El Mundo Frio
Thorr's Hammer - logo and Thor image (I've probably worn this most often over the past year)
Destruction - Mad Butcher (not that I wear it that often, but I like it just cause it's sentimentally attached to some funny memories involving Schmier)

I've gotta stop buying these bloody things... :( Plus I've told myself "no more black t-shirts", heh.

I have somewhere around 70 shirts...
Newest ones being Agalloch (from the CD boxset) and a Wolves in the Throne Room shirt.

Agalloch was selling some of their leftovers from the European tour but I'm broke and didn't snag one. Apparently they're making a bunch of new merch that will be available in a couple months.

Any idea what those Agalloch tour leftovers were? There's some turd on eBay ("sailor_ari" I think it is) constantly flogging off bootleg Agalloch crap, and people keep bidding on it. :-\

WITTR sell their gear for damn good prices though, just have to wait a while for it to arrive if you live in a place like Australia, heh. And the logo on that t-shirt is one of the most illegible things I've ever seen. :p

You can see the design (and buy from) here. They're out now, but I guess the point is, watch that space.

Also, for those looking for Agalloch shirts, I suggest periodically checking The End mailorder, or you might try ordering from Grau, Agalloch's euro distributer. (personally I haven't, but I can't imagine that they're not reliable.) They list all kinds of shirts.

I don't have many shirts...

Had a Meshuggah - Nothing shirt, but it was too small so I gave it to my brother.

also have...
Katatonia - Great Cold Distance
Evoken - Antithesis of Light

Peachy has the link for the shirts. Stay tuned.

If it's the same eBay guy I'm thinking of, he does lots of bootleg stuff:

Yeah WITTR is very inexpensive. Speaking of which, I need to e-mail them again in regards to Diadem on vinyl. When I asked in early December they said contracts had been signed and everything to press one so I wonder when they'll start selling... At a party once when we were all drunk I asked some people if they could guess what the shirt said and they were pretty sure there weren't any letters there :D That and completely boggled minds by telling them .999 repeating is exactly equal to 1.

Awwwwwwww sssssssssshhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiit... I stopped checking The End Records forum on a daily basis just cause not much had been happening recently, and then I miss that. :( It's an excellent design.

Although I'd feel kind of odd wearing a t-shirt for a tour I never went to. :p I have one of their "Heathen Winter 2004 Tour" t-shirts but I never wear it, I'm thinking of selling it (or turning it into patches).

i love all my katatonia t-shirts... i have like 13... i think the black on black might be my fave...i also have two hoodies..
then my Nargaroth logo tee is in my faves (im wearing it right now) and lastly a Gorgoroth tee i stole off my boyfriend :D
