Tons. I had been so busy with school the past three years or so that I had stopped checkin out new music, or music that was new to me almost entirely. I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I only discovered Opeth this year.

Now they they only rival to NoMeansNo for being my favorite band. The good thing about discovering them late is that I'm getting into their albums one by one about a month at a time. It's like their coming out with new albums every few weeks!

Not many. I don´t discover so many bands these day. Already know them all. Well, at least I haven´t discovered any older bands this year. But on the other hand I´ve discovered som newer ones:

i dont really get into that many older bands now, cant afford to backtrack for older stuff any more, but i do have around 1000 cds, so did pretty well in finding all the stuff i wanted,

most of the stuff i listen to nowadays is new, i get sent about 5-15 cds a week for reviewing, so definitely have less time to check older stuff, but definitely have found some marvellous new bands ..

nice to see deeds of flesh get a mention in here, magnificent band, crazy as fuck!! blinding!
