I've heard that at least three times in my life, and I wanted to pull a Varg on all of them.

Hmm.. Master of puppets was the first metallica album I got and that was 1992, so that's one. Also Dark Tranquillity, I got Skydancer first in 1999, when they already had several albums out and were "popular". Though I'd heard Enter Suicidal Angels EP before that.
