Perhaps you can explain this 'Mon The Biffy' phrase that fans keep jangling about?

It's pronounced like "Moan" and it's a fairly typical Scottish colloquialism meaning "Come on". It's essentially a compliment/mark of respect, urging the bands to continue playing great music etc.

It's used in just about every sphere of life, especially at football matches "Mon The Gers!" (The Glasgow Rangers).

Yeah Biffy Clyro have got to that stage of popularity in Britain where everyone just refers to them as "Biffy". But aye they're really quite good.

Actually, I gotta say, I think the best rock music out there is coming out of the UK (once again!) right now. Oceansize, Biffy Clyro, Amplifier, Muse, Fighting With Wire (ireland). Good shits.

Most everyone I know hates The Offspring but I got Smash when I was 10 or so and even though I don't like their later stuff the early shit is awesome.

They're playing a free show at The Warfield which I got tickets for which makes it even more awesome, I never thought I'd see them.
