Yes and no. Cannibal Corpse, Iron Maiden and Anthrax is good. And I know your point but it's not their bass that amazes me. Bass are irrelevant for me.

Mayhem is the shit. De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas is one of greatest Black Metal albums of all time. I didn't like Mayhem at first. It took a while for things to sink in but I'm glad I kept listening..

Well I do not like them. But since Black Sabbath, Mayhem and Motörhead are such big bands, my opinion will not really affect them anyway. Never understand why everyone have to like them.

Cannibal Corpse: Great vocals and guitar. Corpsegrinder are my favorite vocalist (or Frank Mullen but Corpsegrinder is slightly better.)
Iron Maiden: Great guitar.
Anthrax: great vocals and drums.

If your point is that guitars aren't important either, I agree. I don't think any instrument is more important than any other and there are all kinds of music to illustrate this.
