i'm a bit shamed not having heard a single one of his works so thought i'd make a poll to help me choose where to start.
i know i have not listed all the albums, but only those that where availible from my favourite distro. please feel free to say why you've made your choice.

no way hammerheart or BFD, there's only one way to get into Bathory, and that's by the Bathory album. It was ùy way to get into them, and I'm glad it was that way. Songs like "the reaper" or "in conspiracy with satan", they're the best; listen carefully to the garage-style and the mix of the drums; this is the filthiest black metal ever made!!! Quorthon is screaming next to you in your ear!
