Beautiful?

I think the "hidden track" on something wild is really beautiful. and there are always bits and pieces in many songs that I find beautiful as well.

It will be a repetition, but I think "Hatebreeder" is a kind of beauty... maybe that's cause it's a song that I consider perfect, I don't know, but every time I'm listening to it... it's really like seeing a painting or whichever form of art, for me (and I like art).
And about this song I love expecially from the minute 02:50, that part with the allusion to The Magic Flute by Mozart... and that other part when the bass changes notes, that get higher while in the meantime the guitar keeps running with its rhythm... fantastic.

I want everybody to know it: aside my great love for "Hatebreeder" (as I said just 2 posts up above), I consider "In the shadows" like an amazing song, I do believe this song is really a form of beauty... we all know perfectly that Alexi and the other guys don't like it all anymore.. they're almost ashamed of it.
I accept their opinion, but I can't avoid to love it.
That song is really important for me... it's got some different rhythms and sound, it has a gloomy atmosphere, but I literally love it... it's expression of what I feel within... expecially now.

In the shadows 4:10 to end
That is the most beautiful part of any children of bodom song to me.

Hell yes the songs are fuckin beautiful! Mostly everything on Hatebreeder, Follow THe Reaper, and Something Wild is beautiful. WHen i hear these songs, they make me feel so good. I can't explain the sensation it gives me. I feel at ease all over and i just begin to float on fluffy clouds and i'm feel like i'm in heaven. I feel darkness surround me and i'm in obscurity. All the songs are truely lovely and magnificent. Then everything on HCDR and AYDY aren't the same. The songs are good but not beautiful. The only nice song out of those are Angels Don't Kill.

do you know that the orginal meaning of emo stands for emotional? no matter what, every fucking type of music has some kind of emotion attached to it... from cannibal corpse to coldplay to mars volta to john coltrane to johnny cash. music is inspired by feeling and emotion to begin with...so stop trying to follow the trend by telling us that we're following the trend just cuz we say bodom music has beauty in it. it's not the same thing as the real shitty emo shit that is out there (or what everyone now days knows to be emo)

+1

Some just feel a need to play emotionless hardasses on the internet because they can't do it in real life. Pathetic. I'm here to discuss deeply about music (but am obviously at the wrong place)

Yeah, the best and worst of Bodom both in one song.

I disagree with you about "In the shadows"... and a lot. But nvm.

Plus, the CoB guys said they don't like Something Wild album anymore, aside maybe "Lake Bodom" or "Deadnight warrior"...
But that album is so damn good... awesome.
I've never heard another similar thing by a band who was just starting its career... that album is a blast.

I don't think it's as beautiful as Towards Dead End. Silent Night Bodom Night is a more happier song like the COB song.

idiot. its quite obvious for what it stands for.

But it's quite obvious that Mystique knows what "emo" stands for, she was just joking in an ironic manner to answer to the mod, Tammy...

I find a majority of CoB's music to be very aesthetic and ridden with emotion. Hence why they are my second favorite band. I love bands that can combine virtuosity with emotion. :)
I totally agree with you... and indeed at the moment CoB's music is what I'm listening to always more (from the first album to the last one).
