But I have never heard a COB album nor a song. Any suggestions? You know I'm mainly on the Anthrax and Testament forums, but when I get bored I like to browse around the Ultimate Metal forums. So I guess I'll post here since I never have before. So yeah, any recommendations?

Kissing the Shadows is a good call, I agree with the above. It depends on what you like. If you are into thrashier stuff, then something off the newer albums might be good for you. Check out We're not gonna fall or anything else off Are you dead yet or hatecrew deathroll. If you want the older melodic/neoclassical style, I have to go with Silent Night Bodom Night or Red Light in my Eyes pt 2. Both good songs for beginners.

Well obviously, but its hard to say these days. I know people who have just started liking COB and dont care for the older stuff. It honestly blows me away that people could prefer AYDY to hatebreeder, but Ill be damned if I havent heard it a couple of times already. Either way, Im into diversity, if someone asks me about COB, I dont mind offering both styles and allow them to make their own decision. Im not going to force people to check out the stuff I like just because I like it.

But needless to say thrasher, I highly recommend the older stuff over the newer.

I forgot what song it was but it was pretty ironic. Anyway I loved the guitars, and the vocals weren't that bad. I'm pretty sure it was off the new album.
