Mkael actually thought the album sucked when it came out & he first heard it. There was some hype when blackwater park came out. I came across My Arms,Your Hearse used in a store buying it because some hype. I thought it was awful on the first listen. Gave it another listen about two weeks later, now it's one of my favorite albums.

I chose Damnation,because it's a UNIQUE album and i'm definitely a great fan!
A metal band like them, release an atmospheric album like that, it's superb! And for the heavy part, Blackwater park is GREAT! But according to me,all the albums by them are good!
