I really don't care that much about this award in order to rig it, and even if I was going to, I'd be smart enough to add votes over time. I also didn't ask anyone to vote for me.
A lot of the people who voted for me in these polls are from Last.fm, which is probably the site I've devoted more time to than any other. I'm pretty popular and somewhat famous over there for trolling and writing journals, and having made so many accounts over the last few years, and I have lots of fans and friends on the site who also follow me around online.
I never asked anyone to vote for me, just a bunch of the people from Last.fm lurk on here and voted for me because they wanted me to win. I found out because I asked one of my Last.fm friends who follows me everywhere and it was his idea.
I don't care that much, so if there's a rule against people following me around online and voting without my knowledge, you can disqualify me even though I don't think I've actually done anything wrong, or really done anything at all since I didn't know about it until I saw the posts people made in this thread.

It turns out that people I know on Last.fm who lurk here also voted because one of them has a crush on me or something. I feel loved.

Wait, are you that Malvery person who left a sarcastic post on my last.fm account about Dimmu having obvious melodies? Their profile said they were from Egypt, but the comment seemed totally in-character for you.
Yeah, you should know this anyway, considering I only found your profile because you clicked on my old signature link and I saw you in my recent visitors. Besides, I think the comment would make things obvious.

I didn't really know there was a recent visitors feature. I don't use last.fm to socialise with people.
I'm only so popular over there because I talk to everyone, argue with other trolls and make journal entries that get tons of responses because people think they're hilarious. I've also had real musicians register on the site and harass me because I said things about their music, including the Woods of Ypres guy, who apparently also posts here and has his own section.
You sound really proud of that. What so appealing about trolling, and trolling bands especially?

I have a lot of fun online. I don't look for bands to troll, but plenty of musicians have gotten upset at me because I didn't enjoy their music and said so on their artist pages and sent me tons of angry messages.

Neurotica does have an awesome sense of humor. That's about all she deserves credit for though imo, and I don't think it's enough to rate her above people who actually participate regularly in forum life.
