Best Lyrical Content for a Metal band

Yeah! Go Anaal Nathrakh! Hey does anyone know if they're actually saying anything or are they just making noise in most of their songs? I was listening to the Codex Necro, but the only thing I could pick out from the noise was 'on your knees', or something.

What if you're like me and you got so sick of good music with shitty lyrics that you stopped listening to lyrics years ago? The only lyrics I really listen to are Opeth, Nevermore, Soilwork, and Dream Theater. Most other bands I can't understand them/don't care. Like cannibal Corpse. Love the music. Totally brutal. Shitty lyrics. Old Carcass, same way. I guess I like lyrics that are more personal and abstract. Shittiest I can recall is Book of Heavy Metal by Dream Evil. I think it's Dream Evil. That whole album was written by 12 year olds. Good music though.
