Guess I was the only one NOT blown away by 30 days of night. Honestly it wasn't that great of a film, more plot holes than 28 weeks later.
Hot Fuzz was great, that should be on everyone's list.

A lot of you were saying 28 Weeks Later was a decent flick, but to me it looked like it had almost zero promise. At the risk of starting a neverboard riot, is it worth the rental when it comes out?

I expected it to fully suck, but it wasn't half bad (and very gory, always a bonus). I'm not giving four stars by any means, but it's worth the time to watch, moreso than a lot of other films which came out this year.

Haven't seen many '07 movies, but I'd give my vote to 3.10 To Yuma I think. I loved that movie. My only quarrel with it is the guns sounded like capguns.

28 weeks later has moments of brilliance, but suffers from a few nasty plot holes. Good gore!
the first 10 minutes are worth the entire movie. I'd give it a Bish.

well I have not read the graphic novel so I can't comment on that but...OH MY GOD THE POOR PLOT HOLES AND LAPSES IN JUDGEMENT!
I don't want to spoil it but there were quite a few I'm sorry to say. Some of it was related to the filmmaking.

Yeah, there were a few times where I wanted to scream "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!!!???" but human stupidity is one of the things that made the movie kind of fun.

lol i'll have to watch it but i think you guys are over reacting everyone said POC 3 was confusing and had plot holes but it was simple to understand.

Grindhouse was great but i really wanted kurt russell to kill those fucking annoying squawking broads, just SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY

I'd wait a bit longer before cementing any top 5 lists. This year still has American Gangster directed by Ridley Scott, with Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe. Also, there is Stephen King's The Mist, directed by Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption). Those 2 should be extremely good movies.
