Best teen rock/metal movie

DETROIT ROCK CITY!! (What can I say, I'm a Kiss fanatic and it has the best atmosphere ever!)

Trick Or Treat would have to be my 2nd choice, coz being a horror freak, this one wins! And also it has such a great '80s metal atmosphere!

I voted Rock Star as it had awsome songs and some cool 80's stars doing cameos.

Do you have the soundtrack to Trick Or Treat???

I have it on vinyl (gave the CD to Maria)..... it rules!!! Even has the backwards message in Don't Stop The Fight! (Hence why I kept the vinyl over the CD lol)

Nah you may find it! I've seen it a couple of times. The vinyl is probably easier to find than the CD!

I went with Waynes World, however it was a tough choice between that and Trick or Treat. I had a copy of the soundtrack on tape and lost it.

I voted for Rock Star, namely because I think Steel Dragon kick ass!!! But damn, I love all of those movies, although I haven't seen Trick Or Treat!!! I'll have to definitly check it out!!!

YES! Definitely check out Trick Or Treat! Excellent metal/horror film heheh. And the main character is played by Skippy from Family Ties which makes it even cooler

You haven't seen DRC yet??? See it!! It's so damn good, I saw it 4 times at the cinema when it came out and I've hired it countless times on video.

From what I can tell about what Kissmania was like in the late '70s from Kiss videos etc.... the movie captures that atmosphere SO WELL! Especially when they get to Detroit, I felt like I was there! I have chills in my spine every time! Hahahaha..... I should stop talking now because I'm probably starting to sound very very weird. It's not my fault I love Kiss so much Plus its very funny, and has a great soundtrack of Kiss (of course lol), AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, The Sweet, etc.
