beta 57

Andy, Do you prefer the 57 regular or beta 57 on guit cabs. I have both and am leaning towards the reg 57. Any info. appreciated.

Mesa dual/Recto cab vintage 30's. Gibson Les Paul(87) with Seymour Duncan Distortions.

I went and read every single post in this thread. Very cool stuff!
I saw that you suggested against the beta 57 in one of the previous threads for micing a guitar cab. Just curious as to why. Is there a characteristic about the mic that you do not like? Is there a characteristic in the regular 57 that you do like over the beta 57?
