In Italy you can ski and go to the beach on the same day.
Southern California, same thing.
Anyways...
If I had the means I would leave for Finland. I'm sure there's some bad but I read a lot of good...one of the least politically corrupt countries, Fisu, president is a WOMAN...they don't act like the world's fucking police like the US, Finland seems to kind of deal with their own concerns and a quiet country politically, Vodka,they're not on the news every five seconds with some huge scandal like here....I've heard good and bad of the health care system though...the country is gorgeous, Lakes, Sauna, forests, the Finns seem to have a respect and know the need to take care of the wildlands, very modern, and of course the music kicks ass. Milder weather (except this past summer where it was freaky hot) And I got friends there.
I live in SoCal...
The bad: too many people/cars. the 91, 101, 5, 405, 210, 110, 215, 8, and all the other damn freeways..cos they never anticipated so many fucking cars here(thanks GM for ripping out the old PE streetcar system in LA just so you can sell cars to the masses..least thats what i was told)...it's hot & dry and hot dry Santa Ana winds make ya feel like parchment paper....house prices are INSANE.... and people are often selfish assholes here, they days of neighbors knowing each other are long gone here, oh and Ca has no sense of history, beautiful old building? Knock it down, build some ugly cheap crap in it's place; I could go on & on...
{/end rant}
The good: In N Out Burger. Phillipe's French dip...
IF I had the means, I would be gone. But I don't....
