Bleak has some of the best heavy and mellow Opeth parts... killer mellow solo... the vocals at the beginning are fuckin crazy... nothing to dislike about this song in my opinion.

i don't like Bleak that much either. i'd rank it on the #35 spot maybe. well i don't really like the whole BWP (except Dirge For November, which is a masterpiece and Harvest, the 2nd best on BWP)

35th?! Who the hell keeps track that far?! Anyway I like it quite a bit, the second part of the bridge (that really nasty distorted dissonant riff with weird electronicized solo and then the explosion into the ORGASMIC SECTION) is actually quite possibly my favorite couple minutes in Opeth history (even though I like MAYH the best ).

Damn! BWP and MAYH are my top two albums. And if i am correct in remembering your favourite is Deliverance? And that is one of my least favourites .

Seems like the only thing we have in common is that im pretty fat too

BWP was the album that first got me into opeth years ago but as then and now BLEAK is the only track in any album that i will skip when playing, its weird, i cant expalin exactly what i dislike about it,
the leper affinity, TDF, are both 2 of my fav's.
