Blind Amp Shootout: Avenger, Rev Jr, Rev Jr Pro, GH50L

Decided to do a little reampathon shootout with 4 amps today. The guitar used was my Schecter C-1 30th Anniversary with an EMG85 in the bridge, all tracks were sent through an OD808 before hitting the amp, and through my Marshall MF280A cab, mic'd with an Audix i5. The mic was never moved throughout all reamps. See if you can guess which is which!

Don't know which is which, though 2 and 3 sound pretty similar so I'm guessing they're the Krank's. I think I prefer 1 and 4.

They all sound great...doesn't hurt that the riffs and playing are awesome. Haven't actually played any of these amps, so it's hard for me to guess.

The riffs slay! And as was said - all the sounds are actually great. If I had to pick the best and the worst, it would be #1 and #3 respectively.

Thanks for all the kind words! I figure since it would be absolutely impossible for anybody to confidently and accurately guess all the answers I'll give it away now:

1 - Krank Rev Jr Pro 50
2 - Soldano Avenger
3 - Laney GH50L
4 - Krank Rev Jr 20

As you can hear the Rev Jr Pro slays babies! I was originally going to use the same settings as I did on the Rev Jr Standard but realized that the EQ is totally different, two different beasts. Had to use completely different settings for a similar sound.

Damn, may have to get one of those Krank 50's... I had a 20w but the low wattage just lacks too much headroom with the power amp.
