It's night and day for me. Clip A is shoulders above the rest in terms of thickness and bottom end. So I'm very keen to know the results.

Listened again. some good tones man. my vote went for C. B i didnt like too much. A, used to bother me because of a bit too much highs but i thought thats not a problem with a bit of low pass but now i think its because its a little too scooped?

Nice tones anyway. Really interested in the results.

Having never owned any of these amps and to my amateur ears listening on a pair of beyer DT 990's

A: sounds scratchy in the high end at first but grows on you, compared with the other 2 it sounds like it has more air and sparkle.
B: sounds hollow but the mids sounds great.
C: sounds scooped, bottom end sounds nice

A: Valve King
B: Krank
C: 5150

Anticipation... I haven't seen any more info released on the amps. But this is really interesting me.

75 % of you got it right!

A - Krank
B - Valve King
C - 5150

Keep in mind no EQ at all, and they were all done with the mic in the same exact position. Moving the mic on any of them would get rid of 50% of the things you didnt like either way on all of em. So for me it was impressive that so many people liked the Rev Jr. For a 20w head thats pretty damn impressive!

I also update the the OP!

cool man, in case you ever get the time to do the same thing again with the krank by moving the mic to tame the highs it would be really cool!

You got me really curious.

Either way ,thanks for the thread.

i'm just glad i could pick the krank out of a lineup after being the original owner haha, would've felt like an ass to be wrong on that one!
