hey everyone check them out...they are amazing.
the following review was taken from sonicdeath.co.uk

Review One:
Following the death of At The Gates and the rise of In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, the Gothenburg scene not only became very incestuous but very. . . . formulaic? I'm sure there are bands out there to prove me wrong, but on what I've heard, a lot of the Swedish scene is still digging out the old Death and Iron Maiden records. . .

Gardenian (The band of one Niklas Engelin, short term member of In Flames) is definitely another of those melodic death bands, but if you took half of In Flames' melodic power away and replaced it with riffing reminiscent of Nevermore there is no doubt that this album would be your end product. This is particularly evident on the title track with some hard-edged, heavy guitar work.

This album has it's fair share of good songs, mainly the ones that utilise the clean vocals for a different, more emotional effect, such as "Long Snap to Zero" or "Sonic Death Monkey" (Yes, where I got the site name from). In the main the riffs are what carry the songs because of their quality, and the rhythm department does quite a good job of backing this up. The lead guitars are disappointing, there's a few small parts that could qualify for Solo but really they aren't melodic and add nothing to the song as a whole.

It's a worthy effort, not amazing, but solid and well executed. If Nevermore and the NWOSDM are your bag it will be worthwhile checking this one out.

I'm listening to them now...they kick! black metal though...but I find that they have their own style to it an aren't trendy, it's hard to even compare them with anyone, they are very unique...excellent use of the synth and backing female vocals also...great cymbal work too!

just heard the previews + "unspoken wish" (all 10 minutes of it), decided it would have been better if it had remained unspoken. :p
they don't sound that bad, but the monotony could stop a healthy hippo in his tracks. i mean, does anything ever happen? no.
it reminds me of sentenced. this is never a good sign. ;)

rahvin.

it sounds relaxed, yes.
but sentenced is not relaxed, they're very busy and hectic to die :D

oh, i know blutengel, of course. :) terminal choice better fit my needs on a musical level, while both really do the trick for me when it comes to hilariously suicidal lyrics. ;)
i remember spending a good ten minutes in germany laughing my bu off with a guy i met at m'era luna festival. hyena was there too. we just started quoting lines from terminal choice's "collective suicide" and then actually entrued the title by dying laughing.
the singer in both bands (and a quantity of others, if i'm not mistaken) is a living joke. or possibly an undead joke, given the type.

Hi there!

My band 'Elohim' has finally released a new demo named 'Modest Memoirs'. Our music is somewhat leaning towards melodic death, while merging that with keys and clean vox. I'd be very happy if you'd take a minute to listen and perhaps comment these samples:

I think I mentioned them about 4-5 months ago :p
The band is from my town, btw.
Check out Total Devastation too. Line-up is partially same as in Omnium Gatherum, music is little bit different but pretty good anyway. www.totaldevastation.cjb.net/

Check out my band/project everyone...

Autumn Inspiration, hailing from Norway.

We incorporate many different genres in our music, so the 3 audio clips that can be found on the website won't tell you everything, but they'll give you an idea. We've got great feedback so far, especially on clip 2 (which most metalheads enjoy).

Here's the website:
