Blood Meridian

Hehe,
post this in your sig or on our "Promote music" thread (on the first page).

I also can't download anything and comment since my computer's slow. Very slow. :(

Don't remember if I mentioned them before (other than NP), but Frail are an awesome band. I've loved them since I saw them in January...
http://www.frail.tv
And they did a cover of David Bowie - Space Oddity
Lots of excellent clea nvocals too

just wanted to express my gratitude to thanatos who long ago forced upon me a dissection title i did not like at all, but now i grow kinda fond of them :)

I didn't like dissection until my Death is just the beginning IV screwed up in my brother's stereo and played Where Dead Angels lie for me for two hours while I was on UM...

I have come to the conclusion that this is one of Sweden’s finest Gothenburg metal acts. Their style is a very unique and to me the music has a lot of emotions involved. It’s one of those bands that you can feel the passion towards their music. The music is a combination of death/thrash metal. At this moment I can’t think of any band to compare them too, but they do have that so called “Gothenburg” sound. Lost in the Beauty You Slay & The Fifth Season features current In Flames drummer, Daniel Svennson on drums and on vocals for all tracks except four. I am posting this message for fans of Dark Tranquillity, Dimension Zero, In Flames, Soilwork & Gardenian.

Cheers & Enjoy!

Hey this is Coy from Clad In Darkness. CID is a local Chicago Death/Black metal band in the vein of Opeth/Dissection, and such bands. We have MP3's on the media page of our site. Or you can get the whole demo on the UM hub. Currently on our site you can only download Amidst Her Shadows, and Solitude. Any criticism is welcome, and would be appreciated. So check us out!

Why not in here, the thread is done for those things... or because it's "new" and not signed, it should be packed where it shall be less seen?
he had posted this as a new thread, and i merged it into its proper place, so the comments don't make much sense by now. i know it might be pretty confusing sometimes. ;)

noooo.... this is my month of disappointments or what? all the bands change (or I change?) in a way I don´t approve... now comes my evil constructive feedback:
Who wrote the new songs? Same guys as before (Jaakko, Pekka, Vili.....Luis not anymore)? Why does "Illusion" sound like Stratovarius? Why at all does the singer so desperately want to sound like Timo Kotipelto?

I saw Craydawn live in February 2002 and it was terrific! I was convinced this band has a great future. Some way to go, but definitely on the right way and talented as hell.

Now the songwriting seems to have oriented towards new goals, partly, and I have a hard time to follow... "Illusion" is not good. "Drop Dead Twisted" is a tiny bit better, but still.... I think the originality is gone in those two. The songs had more layers in previous times. Or maybe the band, since they didn´t get a record deal with the former material [something that I don´t really understand] decided to adapt to market? I dunno. There must be something about the vocalist, though, since the former singer recommended him, but now Craydawn is not the same to me anymore.
I have to congrat for "The Pledge", because that song is really very good and though through. Skip the others, only listen this one ;)

And yes, in recent times I critized a lot of bands quite hard, either here or elsewhere. But that is my duty because I care for them ;)

and don´t ask me anyone why they posted this on DT-board, but I am glad, because otherwise I would not have known :)

To give the thread-starter a little hint: "Finland scene" would be maybe the forum where I would expect this promotion first.

Filthy filthy spammer.
