Blood Meridian

Hm. Check out Requiem Aeternam.....Interesting mix of melodic black, death and viking metal....I bought 'Eternally Dying' by them recently, 'cause it looked cool and it was cheap. I like it.

Anathema - Alternative 4

..And Oceans - I like the newest, Cypher, the most.

Dissection - I prefer Storm of the Light's Bane but both are excellent

In the Woods... - I only have Omnio and A Return to the Isle of Men and Omnio is better one of those

Beneath are a swedish Thrash Metal band with influences from The haunted (among others). Their latest demo have recieved great reviews magazines and web-pages. It's a masterpiece in my opinion. I can't understand how they can't have any contract. Check them out at http://welcome.to/beneath[/QUOTE]

The guitarplayer Daniel is a friend of mine. I like the music but the vox are the weak link.

Dissection and In the woods...
You can't go wrong with any of their releases, honestly.
But start with Storm of the light's bane and Omnio respectively.
Ulver - Bergtatt is one hell of a record too.

well, i'd dl the songs and be happy to comment on them (not sure you'd be happy about that part tho), but i'm on a dialup, i'm supposed to be studying, i need coffee and a good sleep, possibly someone to rub my back too, and generally i feel awful. at least you're giving me the opportunity to rant and raise my post count at the same time, so cheers to that.
