Has anyone played it yet? I don't own a ps4 but I just woke up to find out work is cancelled for the day and it releases today in Australia. Is it worth buying the ps4 just for this game? I'll be flat broke for a few months if I do but I get the feeling it will be worth it. Should I commit to eating toasted cheese and 2 minute noodles for a few months just for this game?

I'm a megafan of the Souls series, so I have no doubt this game will be worth every penny. I need to pick up my copy.
Been playing all day. It's a masterpiece
1. feels like dark souls 1
2. the map is very well laid out even better than souls 1
3. enemies aren't always fixed in place so you never feel safe. A wandering bad guy you thought you left behind could come find you. it hasn't happened much but it does happen
4. so far the bonfires (lamps in this game) are not so easy to find and it's a real rush when you do find one
5. transforming weapons kick ass
6. enemies are really unique
Difficulty isn't too high but I like it this way. I consider buying a ps4 just for this game a tad extreme but im very glad I did. So far it is my favorite souls game.

Picked it up yesterday and the more I play, the more I absolutely love it. For starters, the game is just gorgeous. I love the combat, especially the new parry/riposte mechanic with the gun. Not sure which I love more, this or Dark Souls 2, which I believe is an amazing game. I can't wait for SOFS to release on the 7th.
