1080p.Oh, thats not bad. You said 1080i? Or is it 720?
Just as a side note, 720p and 1080i, are essentially two ways of skinning the same cat.

Will do.try a few more "conventional" flicks ... rahter than these recorded in HD already cheese fests ... with computer effects.
wonder how they translate and if there is any difference.
Really? I thought that movie was way too long.something like THE DEPARTED ... you know, real movies

Did you really enjoy it? Seriously... I thought it was OK. Not only was it too long, it seemed like the story kind of came apart at the end.i know you forgot this guy:
I still see nothing wrong with an old fashioned, flatscreen, picture-tube television and a decent DVD player. It's sort of like when DVD burners came out and then OH NO 4.7GB wasn't enough to back up one's e-porn collection to avoid the fatal Daddy's Accidental Delete Sweep, you had to get dual layer burners. There comes a point in time when technology should just say "this level is more than good enough, now let's just make it cheaper as the years go by, and try not to dumb it down too much in the process." Maybe I'm just getting old.
How come you guys can go to the moon but you can't make my shoes smell good?
That's simply not true. The 360 will always win in terms of games.
Blu-Ray has a similar deal, where you get 5 Blu-Ray discs of your choice.
HD-DVD is getting desperate, because they're losing the war. Even though Microsoft has been bribing studios for temporary exclusivity on their format (HD-DVD), it's not working. The PS3 is down to $400 and games are being launched that show it's capabilities. It's just a matter of time now.

Actually, that's not true. The sale of "Transformers" gave them a huge boost. However, that boost was short lived.Got any facts to back this up? HD DVD software slaes have been behind for a while but have been gradually increasing for the past 3 months.
Do I have a photo copy of a document with both CEO's signatures on it? No. However, it was widely reported. Beyond that, it's also a matter of common sense. If you're already set up to print titles in both formats, what reason could you possibly have for shutting down production of the format that was winning the war by a 3:1 margin?Microsoft and Toshiba have both expressed extreme denial of bribing Paramount and you don't have any proof of that.
Over? Not yet... obviously, they're still selling HD-DVDs. And it won't be over until the last studio shuts down production of the HD-DVD format. However, Blu-Ray has several factors that continue to work in its favor:This war is FAR from over, and you know it.
