Blut Aus Nord

The eerie, dissonant phrases are done by playing odd chord variations and then bending the highest string (I think). They have a quiet unique, atonal style about them, though this is far from the most dissonant music I've ever heard.

I'm thoroughly enamored with this album at the moment. It seems to grow on me progressively with each repeated listen, and I reckon it'll be quite some time before I shelf it.

This is what it's all about! A community in friendly praise, joy and agreement over great music!!!!

Let's all arrange to gather for a gangbang with The Work Which Transforms God as the timed soundtrack.

(Memoria Vetusta - F.O.T.I.A.) is the only cd I can properly enjoy from start to finish from this band. Is this new record similar to "The mystical beast of rebellion" because I thought that really lacked...the songs were just too damn similar to one another.

I tried to listen to Blut Aus Nord last year but the production was so terrible I couldn't listen to it for more than 10 seconds.... you know.. I like to hear some instruments sometimes... I also like to hear interesting guitar riffs...

All instruments are fully audible on all Blut Aus Nord releases, except for the possibility of the demos, which I haven't heard. The production isn't even raw.

The Mystical Beast of Rebellion is their weakest and least variable album. I enjoy the ambience through extreme repitition, though. The latest album is nothing like this, probably has the most variation between songs on any of their albums.

Yeah, everything is completely audible, and it is accented nicely by the insane vocals and bit of odd production.

I guess I'll give them another chance then.
